Experts to overhaul China's exams (A article about my country)

Durham University in England is a famous one which has been well-known around the world. The university's Curriculum, Evaluation and Management Centre (CEM) is going to help implement a national curriculum-based assessment in China. China's government spend $ £459'000 on this contract for a mission to improve education for children in China. This project will involve establishing two CEM monitoring projects in China for three years, which are anticipated to run for the foreseeable future.

In China, the education system has been changing greatly, trying hard to catch up to international examination system for the last decade. The assessment system in China is only focus to judge students' knowledge while the curriculum based assessments are not only judge students' knowledge, but also judge them ideas, perception, intelligence and character. This article that I chose was not only interesting to me, but it was also necessary for me to know what benefits and improvements China has been getting out of this contract with Curriculum, Evaluation and Management Centre (CEM).
